Tallykeeper Report October 28, 2012
Big Braves gathered from all around the area for a big pow wow in early September and our tribe was formed.
The little Braves in the tribe include: Christopher, James, Ayden, Daniel, Ryan, Will, Ben, John, and Taylor.
Later, the Big Braves meet at Tyler's Taproom, and over glasses of firewater, picked our tribe meeting dates and picked our tribes officers which include:
Big Brave Eric with Little Brave Christopher as Chief
Big Brave Scott with Little Brave Will as Sachem
Big Brave Brian with Little Brave James as Wampum Bearer
Big Brave Phil with Little Brave Ayden as Tallykeeper
And
Big Brave Bill with Little Brave Ben as Fetchum
Little Brave Christopher and Big Brave Eric delivered great Lego invitations for our first meeting.....giving us all a hint to the fun we will have in the coming year as we get to know the members of our tribe!
___________
On October 7, 2012, our tribe meet for the first time at the teepee of Golden Arrow (Christopher) and Silver Arrow (Eric). Golden Arrow beat the tom-tom 12 times marking the official start of our Tribe.
After clumsily reciting the aims and pledge for the first time, tribe members shared their indian names....which include:
Big Brave Tribal Name Little Brave Tribal Name
Brian Walker Thundering Buffalo James Lightning Lizard
Phil Bradley Tomahawk Ayden Red Arrow
Fred Pollaci Laughing Hawk Daniel Burning Hawk
Eric Denney Silver Arrow Christopher Golden Arrow
Josiah Chen Sleeping Giant Panda Ryan Running Firefox
Scott Hughes Snoring Eagle Will Silver Eagle
Bill Vinson Thunder Bear Ben Sky Hawk
Spencer Scott Hawkeye John Flying Eagle
John Duffie Big Coyote Taylor Little Coyote
For the craft, we all created our name tags with our Indian names with lots of excellent artwork.
After a healthy snack of apples and popcorn, the Little Braves voted on the Tribe Name. We now have the really cool tribe name of "Skull and Crossbones".
We then made the unbroken circle for our closing prayer.
Respectfully submitted,
By Tomahawk and Red Arrow - Tallykeepers
