Dad’s Meeting September 4, 2014

Four Dad’s meet at Tyler’s Tap Room to start the planning for our year.  In attendance were: Chief – Brian, Scott, Josiah and Phil. 

Items discussed ranged from:  

1) Our we build people pledge (we may be pretty aggressive this year with our pledge amount – will let Brian brief the tribe about proposed pledge amount)

2) Schedule of meetings and how the meetings may be a service activity and not necessarily a standard meeting.

List of meetings with volunteered hosts:

Sept 21: Josiah Hosts (may pick up trash along HWY 55 as a service project)

Oct 19: Brian Hosts

Dec: No meeting

Jan 11: Scott Host

Feb 22: Phil Host – Will do service project associated with Backpack buddies as meeting.

March:  Need host

April: Need host

3) Camping date – to be determined.  Possibly at the Stanek Ranch with a very tentative date of Mid November (maybe the Nov. 8-9 weekend).  Dependent of course on the host’s schedule.

4) Spring Outing – May 8-10.  The tribe needs to plan, build, and transport a raft for the “famous” raft race.
