Tallykeeper report: Jan 11, 2015
Recap-
Third year tribe activities focuses on community service - doing things for others.
Community service can include making our community a prettier place to directly helping others in need.
September 23- Ryan and Josiah hosted. Enjoyed some smoked meat and home made beer. After meeting we picked up trash on Davis Drive for a community service project earning the first patch to our 5 piece totem pole.
October 19 - James and Brian hosted. Again we had some deliciousness food including ribs and fire water for the big braves and hot dogs and s'mores for the little braves. James and Brian provided us with material for our second group community service activity which was writing letters of thanks to servicemen and women who are away from their country, family and friends, and gdoing dangerous work to help keep us safe at home. This activity got us our second totem pole section for our vest. We also agreed on a tribe pledge of $500 for We Build People. We Build People helps father/daughter and father/son pairs attend Y activities. Including the We Build People pledge - we all should have at least three totem pole pieces for our vest.
Nov 8 - Tribe camping at the Stanek farm hosted by Alex and Steven. We had fun shooting BB guns, archery and throwing things like cans and glass bottles into the fire and watching them melt.
December - we took the month off for tribe activities while we enjoyed being with family and friends for the holidays.
We are looking forward to fun tribe activities in 2015 and doing more activities to help others.
Respectively Submitted,
Tomahawk - Tallykeeper
